Frank Richard Fidelman, born on September 14, 1942, passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Frank grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, a place that shaped him throughout his life and remained close to his heart. He carried that Baltimore spirit with him always as a devoted Ravens fan and a lifelong lover of Maryland blue crabs, which he enjoyed sharing with family during many memorable crab feasts. Frank was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and family man whose life was defined by love, perseverance, and quiet strength. For decades, he was a steady and dependable presence, someone who showed up consistently for the moments that mattered most. He was the beloved husband of Gail McDonald Fidelman, and their life together was marked by deep partnership, loyalty, and love. While his loss is felt by many, Gail will miss him every single day. The life they built and the love they shared will remain with her always. Frank was a proud and loving father and stepfather to Carezza DiMatteo Wolff (Bill), Maggie DiMatteo Salem (Abed), Matthew DiMatteo (Mariana), Marc DiMatteo (Kristin), Rick Fidelman (Mechele), and Wendy Dee (Tom). He was always there for his children, offering support, guidance, and honest advice that time often proved right. His strong convictions, wisdom, and steady presence helped shape their lives in lasting ways. One of Frank's greatest joys was being a grandfather. He leaves behind a large and deeply cherished group of grandchildren: Kayla DiMatteo, Izabella Wolff, Mason Wolff, Nicholas DiMatteo, Leo DiMatteo, Jameel Salem, Leena Salem, Mia DiMatteo, Amir Salem, Alejandro Menendez, Austin Harman, Braden Harman, Shelby Fidelman, Chase Dee, Jake Dee, and Skyla Dee. He never missed birthdays, holidays, or beloved family traditions, and his presence in their lives will be remembered with warmth, laughter, and love. Frank proudly served in the United States Navy, where he was part of the submarine service aboard the USS George Washington, the nation's first Polaris missile submarine. Serving on such a groundbreaking vessel was a source of deep pride for him, and the discipline, responsibility, and resilience he developed during those years stayed with him throughout his life. Frank earned his bachelor's degree in engineering and architectural design from the University of Maryland, and later his Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, all while raising his young family and working two jobs. His determination to build a better life through education and hard work was one of the defining qualities of his character. He went on to found PCI Consultants Inc., an engineering firm he led as founder and president for more than 20 years. Frank built the company with integrity, dedication, and an unwavering work ethic, taking great pride in the reputation he earned and the business he grew through perseverance and commitment. Outside of work, Frank found his greatest joy on the golf course. Golf wasn't just a pastime for him, it was a true passion that reflected his discipline, focus, and love of quiet challenge. Over the years, he played most of the major championship courses across the United States, taking pride in experiencing some of the most iconic and breathtaking fairways in the country. Each round brought him a sense of peace and fulfillment, and those who knew him well could see how deeply he loved the game and how much happiness it brought him throughout his life. He also loved to travel, exploring many corners of the world, including Alaska and Hawaii, throughout Europe, and across Asia, including China, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as Egypt. In retirement, Frank moved to Middletown, Delaware, where he enjoyed a quieter pace of life and spent many meaningful days with several of his grandchildren, time that became some of his most cherished. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Phillips Fidelman and Frank E. Fidelman, and his sisters, Carol Street and Marjorie Schwarz. HOENING .. .. .. Brian T.
