The above link goes to the USSVI (United States Submarine Veterans, Inc.) Facebook page where their members who have gone on “Eternal Patrol” are noted.

I’ll keep my work here going, trying to get others who were not USSVI members. You’re encouraged to look there as well as here! Obviously, there’ll be some I miss and some I duplicate.

BARANOWSKI .. .. .. Arthur Z. Baranowski entered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2026.  Art was born on June 20, 1951, in Hartford, Wisconsin, to Arthur R. and Zdzislawa Folwarski.  Arthur graduated from Hartford Union High School in 1969.  He was conscripted into the military in 1970, serving in the Navy as a torpedosman’s mate.  His submarines included the USS Threadfin, USS Amberjack, USS Nathanael Greene, and the USS James Madison.  He earned three associates degrees, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education.  He retired from the United States Navy in 1995 and the GSA in 2012.
Art enjoyed many vacations, hiking, camping, golfing, and trivia with family and friends.
Art is survived by his loving wife, Carla, his children Tara and Michael, two brothers and a sister in law: Thad and Ruth Baranowski and their kids, his brother Andy, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Art will be missed by his close friends, Jeff and Debbie Lister, JoAnne and Pat Golden, Sue Dietrich, Robine and Bill Tyler, and Teresa and Ernie Cervantes, and their families.  The family thanks everyone who has stood by them the last two years on this cancer journey.
