I’ll keep my work here going, trying to get others who were not USSVI members. You’re encouraged to look there as well as here! Obviously, there’ll be some I miss and some I duplicate. 

BELT .. .. .. Donald Robert "Bob" Belt, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026 at age 89. Born October 13, 1936, in Childress, Texas, Bob was raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and spent much of his life in Colorado Springs inspiring young people through education and athletics.
Bob served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1957 in the submarine service. After his service, Bob graduated for the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), beginning a career that would influence generations of students. A respected teacher, coach, and administrator, he believed deeply in the values of discipline, teamwork, and encouragement.
He proudly led Wasson High School to a Colorado state title in 1978 as head coach. He became the first Athletic Director at Rampart High School, where he championed not only athletics but the success and character of every student.
In retirement, Bob remained active as a Rover at Patty Jewett Golf Club, where he enjoyed visiting with golfers and friends. He loved golf, travel, and college basketball, and March Madness was always a special time of year.
Bob was married for 63 years to the love of his life, Arlene Yvonne Belt, who preceded him in death in 2023.
He is survived by his daughter, Lani Lei Hudspeth (Michael) of Fulshear, Texas; his son, Kevin Robert Belt (Kailee) of Denver, Colorado; his granddaughter, Caroline Belt; his sister, Sharon Sexson; and his brother, Jerry Belt.

FRY .. … .. Bill Lee Fry 77, passed away peacefully at his home in San Jose on Friday, October 23, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 18, 1932, in Piggott, Arkansas, Bill was one of five children. San Jose has been his home for the last 67 years. Bill was a US Navy Veteran who served on a submarine during the Korean War. Following his military service, he began his career at NASA – Moffett Field and then transferred to Lockheed Missiles and Space, where he was a Data Systems Analyst. He retired in 1997 after 39 years of Service. Bill was an avid golfer and faithful SF Giants and 49er fan. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Peggy, six children, Misty, Chris, Sean, Heather, Kelly and Shannon. Seven grandchildren, and a sister, Martha Bakke.
