Master and Commander Posts: 2360 | Subject: I come from a strange planet out there somewhere..... ....and have thought that for quite a while now. Tonight though, just proved it for me beyond all reasonable doubt. My ex rings and say 'we need to speak', so she comes over. It's about a number of things, but mainly our Son and his schooling.....her job not being renewed at the school, and her Mum's illness. ( some of you may recall she has cancer and was given 5 years to live....about 9-10 years ago ) Anyway, 'woe is me' because of this and that and I may have to go and spend more time with my Mum to look after her as they can do no more with her treatment etc so therefore she may move down South ( about 2 hours away from me ) with the kids....'blah, blah, blah ....) "as I may not have a job, I will have to pull the kids out of the private school because I wont be able to afford it".....I pay more than enough Child Support!....and she has a live in lover. So there I am thinking, "I actually love and respect this woman who is/was my Mother in Law, so, maybe she should move in with me and that would make things easier for her, my ex wife, and ultimately, my kids." I then realise, "there goes my 3 month holiday overseas next year" as I will have to look after my kids.....YES, my No 1 priority. Then, as the chat is finishing, and I am a little peeved by some things she has said, she then says, "oh, we ( her, boyfriend and my kids ) are going on an 8 day cruise in January" My blood boiled.......there I am thinking of what I can do to help and the sacrifices I may have to make, and she tells me they are all going on a cruise........I splintered, and with a few expletives, told her exactly what I thought, how she should learn to make sarifices....and her reply is, "but we have planned this". "get out of my #$!%^@ house" was the last thing I said. OK, now what planet do I come from? any ideas? I am thinking.....'Uranus" as in "you're an arse"  ex's....don't ya just love 'em? Blue  | ||
