You’re encouraged to look there as well as here! Obviously, there’ll be some I miss and some I duplicate. DALL .. .. .. Sebastian (Sabby) S. Dall, 22, of Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, St. Mary’s, GA passed away from injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident on October 30, 2024. He was born in Denver, CO the son of Kristin S. (Newhard) Dall of Morrison, CO and Scott Dall of CO. Sabby was a graduate of Conifer High School Class of 2021. He was enlisted in the U.S. Navy, honorably serving as Machinist’s Mate 3- Submarine upon the USS TENNESSEE (SSBN 734)(BLUE). Sabby loved his time on the sub and excelled in the Navy earning numerous awards including a gold star fireman achievement medal. He was an avid snowboarder and enjoyed all types of motorsports. Sabby treasured his motorcycle, spending time with his Navy friends and those in his motorcycle club. He loved dogs and, most importantly, cherished spending time with his family. Survivors: In addition to his parents, Sabby is survived by his brother, Christian E; maternal great-grandmother, Ellen M. Bauder of Center Valley; maternal grandparents, Robert J. and Sharon J. Zondlo of Effort, PA; maternal grandfather, Ervin Newhard of Sherman’s Dale; aunts, Dr. Robin L. Carosella and her husband Chris of Allentown, Paulette M. Kraeutler and her husband Keith of Effort, PA; Dawn Dall of Scappoose, OR; uncle, John Dall and his wife Stephanie of Holmdel, NJ; maternal great-uncle Allen Newhard of Allentown; cousins, Gianna, Emelina, Benjamin, Calvin, Jennifer and Donnie; best friends and roommates Cody and Brooke Wood-Cunningham; and K9 companion, Nyx. Services: A celebration of Sabby’s life will be held at 11 am on November 16, 2024 in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 9 – 11 am in the funeral home. Military honors will conclude the service in the “Garden” of the funeral home. www.stephensfuneral.com. Sabby’s fellow sailors and friends in Georgia can celebrate on Kings Bay Base Wednesday November 20. A celebration of life will also be held in Colorado in the future. WILSON .. .. .. David Wilson, 83, of Norfolk, VA, passed away peacefully on August 18th, 2024. David served his country with pride in the submarine service for eight years before embarking on a fulfilling career in photography. His work was featured in various art and gallery shows, reflecting his creative spirit and love for the visual arts. In addition to photography, David was a talented woodworker, designing and producing a wide range of items, from furniture to decorative boxes and bowls. His craftsmanship was admired by many, and his creations brought beauty and function to those who were fortunate enough to own them. He is survived by his wife, Karen Wilson, his daughter, Cathy Jo Wilson, son Paul Wilson, his sister Kathy Eggers (Tommy) and brother, Wayne Wilson. He is also survived by son-in-law, Scott Walsh. In accordance with his wishes, David will receive a military burial at sea. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. | ||
